At Sport & Spinal Physiotherapy in Gungahlin, we are always looking out for talented and motivated physiotherapists, podiatrists and massage therapists as our business continues to grow.
We have a modern, well-appointed premises with free parking, electronic medical note-taking, a fully equipped gymnasium and spacious private rooms and cubicles.
The practice principal is a Sports Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience including working with some national level sporting teams. All staff work as a team in providing great outcomes for our clients.

We are a hands-on clinic with special interest in biomechanics, muscle energy, exercise prescription and core stability. Our case load is varied with most clients being private. Most injuries are sporting or activity related. Our practice also has a strong focus on occupational rehabilitation, conducting pre-employment screenings and functional capacity evaluations.
We currently provide physiotherapy sports coverage services to Gungahlin United Football Club, Gungahlin Eagles Rugby and ACT Academy of Sport athletes. An opportunity may exist to participate in sports coverage of these teams to further enhance your skills.
The clinic’s main podiatry focus is biomechanics, orthotic therapy and footwear advice and you will be working closely with the physiotherapists in these aspects to improve client lower limb biomechanics in a team approach. We also provide general podiatry services.
Some mentoring will be available from our senior podiatrist who has over 20 years experience including working with some national level sporting teams and Sydney 2000 Olympic games athletes. You will receive full administrative and office support along with all required podiatric equipment.
You will be working closely with the physiotherapists to achieve great outcomes for our clients. Primarily, you will performing remedial, sports, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. There is the opportunity to also perform pregnancy massage and lymphatic drainage massage for the right applicant. We provide a peaceful calming environment for our massage clients with aromatherapy, ambient light and relaxation music available.
We offer an attractive remuneration package for all professional staff including further therapeutic skills education courses. Bonuses are given on performance and attitude. Regular mentoring is provided to accommodate to our unique ‘phase based rehab system’ for all professional staff. We have a strong inservice program with guest lecturers and appraisals on best practice injury management, business and marketing education, and case study conferences.
New graduates welcome to apply but experience preferred. Some post-graduate education is a benefit. Flexible working hours available, but evenings preferred.
