Cecilia Brennan: Our Podiatrist in Canberra City
Good news for Canberra city, there is now a podiatrist centrally located in the Melbourne building and to celebrate I am offering a FREE 10 minute, no strings attached, podiatry pre-assessment to current and new clients.
My name is Cecilia Brennan and I’m a podiatrist who has just expanded my services into Civic. I work in a multi-disciplinary team at Sport & Spinal Physiotherapy which incorporates massage therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry. Holistic Psychology has also joined us which offers clinical psychology and nutrition/dietetics.
For those who aren’t quite sure what a podiatrist is, they are health professionals that specialise in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of foot, ankle and lower extremity disorders. I treat:
- Foot and ankle pain
- Sports and exercise related injuries
- Children’s feet
- Calluses and corns
- Ingrown toenails
- People with diabetes
- Footwear concerns
- Wart treatments
I have been busily unpacking all the supplies to fit into the purpose built premises in the Melbourne Building, on the corner of Northbourne Avenue and Alinga Street. All the above podiatry services have been accommodated for. The practice is also fully equipped with a state-of-the-art gymnasium for those who are prescribed exercises and we have the materials and equipment for custom and heat moldable orthotic prescription. All the tools required for ingrown toenail removal, corn removal and wart treatment are onsite.
From the inside you wouldn’t know that the building was first erected in the 1920s. It is a light filled, open space with large windows facing onto Northbourne Avenue for me to assess the walking style of the pedestrians below.
